The web site and all sub-sites and related sites (collectively, the “Site”) is owned and operated by Voyages Encore Travel Inc. (“Encore”).

Encore understands that booking travel online involves significant trust from its clients. Encore values its clients’ trust, and makes it a priority to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal information it obtains in the course of its business operations.

Encore is committed to protecting the Personal Information (as defined below) with which you entrust us. Encore takes this responsibility seriously. Trust and integrity are key values that Encore promotes and its business ethics model is based on these values. Encore is committed to collecting, maintaining, and securing Personal Information about you, in accordance with this Privacy Policy ("Policy"), as well as applicable laws and regulations.

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information collected through the Site. This Policy does not apply to Personal Information collected from offline resources, except in cases where such Personal Information is consolidated with Personal Information collected by Encore online.

This Policy does not apply to the collection, storage or use of Personal Information by third parties.


While you may refuse to provide Personal Information to Encore, certain information about you is required to create your profile on the Site, which in turn allows you to book travel and take part in other communication on the Site. In the event that you should make a reservation for a third party through the Site, you must obtain the prior consent of such third party in order to provide Encore with their Personal Information.


"Personal Information" means any information that identifies an individual or which may be identified as being about an individual, including names, contact information, billing information and any information regarding a payment card, including the billing address, and any information from a travel document or government-issued document, including a passport number or social insurance number, as well as information regarding loyalty programs and travel preferences.

"Partner" means any person with whom Encore does business in its ordinary course in order to provide Services to its clients, including any airline service provider, hotel, car rental agency or other service provider, such as marketing agencies and credit card processing services, as well as their employees, officers and directors.

“Cookie” means a data file that is sent by web servers to your computer's hard drive, where your internet browser files are kept. Cookies enable websites to store bits of information on your computer and retrieve that information at a later time. Encore uses two types of cookies: session cookies, which are temporary cookies that are erased from your computer's memory when you close your internet browser or turn your computer off, and persistent cookies, which exist on your computer's hard drive until they expire, unless you delete them at an earlier time.

“Service” means any service provided by Encore through the Site.

“User” means any person who creates a profile on the Site, as well as any person who visits or uses the Site.

Accountability. Encore is responsible for Personal Information in its possession or custody, including information that may be transferred to a Partner for processing. Encore shall therefore use contractual or other means to provide a comparable level of protection for Personal Information processed by a Partner.

Encore has implemented policies and practices to give effect to key elements required to ensure adequate protection of Personal Information, including: implementing procedures to protect personal information; establishing procedures to receive and respond to complaints and inquiries; training employees and informing employees about Encore’s policies and practices; and developing information to explain Encore’s policies and procedures.

Identifying Purposes. Encore collects Personal Information online as necessary to enable individuals to register for, customize and personalize certain online resources offered by Encore and access Services and features offered online.

Encore assesses the use of some online resources with non-identifiable information. Encore may also use Personal Information to audit its online resources for authorized access and security.

Consent. Users’ knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information about them. If a User provides Personal Information in forms or data fields on the Site, such User consents to the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information according to the terms of this Policy.

Users may access many parts of the Site without disclosing any Personal Information.

Encore uses tracking technologies in ways that do not identify you personally, such as to accurately track numbers of Users or referring sites to its online resources. In some cases, Encore may use tracking technologies in ways that identify you personally, but only after you have entered Personal Information into a form or data field on the Site, or where you have created a profile to use the Site by providing a User ID and password.

Encore may use tracking technologies to remember your personal preferences and selections, such as Personal Information that you have entered into data fields on the Site, answers that you have provided in response to surveys, or sections of the Site that you visit frequently. You may choose whether or not you want Encore to use tracking technologies to remember you, and/or to provide additional personalized services to you.

Individual Users can control the use of certain tracking technologies, such as Cookies, through most internet browsers. Some internet browsers enable you to limit or disable the use of Cookies for individual websites. Other browsers allow you to select Cookie settings for all websites that you visit. If you limit or disable Cookies, certain functions of the Site may not work properly, including access to some registration-based portions of the Site

Limiting Collection. Encore limits the collection of personal information to that which is necessary for the full delivery of the Services by Encore and its Partners.

Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention. Encore uses Personal Information only for the identified purposes for which it was collected or for any related purpose which a reasonable person may expect.

Personal Information about you will be accessible to Encore, its Partners, and individuals and organizations that use Personal Information solely for and at the direction of Encore. Personal Information about you will only be used, stored and disclosed in a manner consistent with this Policy, at all times.

Personal Information shall be disclosed on a need-to-know basis, and will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill its identified purposes or in accordance with applicable laws or Encore’s policies. Personal Information that is no longer required to fulfill the identified purposes will be destroyed, erased, or made anonymous.

Encore will use your billing information, such as payment card information and billing address, and other Personal Information, for the purposes of completing your travel bookings on the Site and to provide you with confirmation of your bookings and updates regarding outstanding travel bookings. Therefore, Personal Information will be shared with Partners. By making a reservation through the Site, you authorize Encore to disclose to any relevant Partners the Personal Information required to complete a booking or reservation and for the other purposes specified in this Policy. You also acknowledge that any Personal Information disclosed to such Partners is subject to their privacy, confidentiality and security policies. Such Partners may also contact you, if required, to obtain additional information about you, to finalize your reservation or for any other purpose.

Encore may be required to disclose Personal Information to government authorities or law enforcement officials, wheresoever situate, for security, customs and immigration purposes, or in response to subpoenas or court orders, to establish or exercise its legal rights or defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law or legal process. Personal Information provided to Partners in accordance with the terms set forth above may also be disclosed by such Partners to government authorities or law enforcement officials for the foregoing reasons.

Accuracy. Personal information provided to Encore shall be as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used. Encore will rely upon the User to provide accurate and complete information and to inform Encore if its Personal Information changes, in whole or in part, from time to time.

Safeguards. Personal Information will be protected by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information. The security safeguards shall protect Personal Information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. Encore will protect personal information regardless of the format in which it is held.

The nature of the safeguards will vary depending on the sensitivity of the information that has been collected, the amount, distribution, and format of the Personal Information, and the method of storage. The methods of protection may include physical measures (for example, locked filing cabinets and restricted access to offices), organizational measures (for example, security clearances and limiting access to a “need-to-know” basis) and technological measures (for example, the use of passwords and encryption).

Encore will inform its employees of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of Personal Information.

Care will be used in the disposal and destruction of Personal Information, to prevent unauthorized parties from gaining access to any Personal Information.

Transparency. Personal Information is mainly located at Encore’s servers located in Montreal, Quebec. Personal Information provided to Partners or third parties in accordance with this Policy may be located elsewhere.

Individual Access. You may access and update your Personal Information by visiting the Site. However, in the event that your profile is terminated in accordance with Encore’s Terms and Conditions of Use you will no longer be able to access your profile or any of your Personal Information. Encore may retain certain Personal Information for as long as it has a legitimate reason for doing so, for any reason, including recordkeeping.

Upon your written request, Encore will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of Personal Information about you and you shall be given access to that Personal Information. You are entitled to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the Personal Information and have it amended as appropriate, subject to some exceptions as prescribed by law. In certain situations, Encore may not be able to provide access to all the Personal Information it holds about you. Exceptions to such access are limited and specific and may include Personal Information that contains references to other individuals, information that cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or commercial proprietary reasons, and information that is subject to solicitor-client or litigation privilege. The reasons for denying access will be provided to you upon request.

A response will be provided to you within thirty (30) days of a written request for access to Personal Information.

When you contact Encore, please mention the nature of the Personal Information you provided.  Encore will use reasonable efforts to respond promptly to requests, questions or concerns regarding its use of Personal Information. Except where required by law, Encore cannot ensure a response to questions or comments regarding topics unrelated to your Personal Information or to this Policy. Encore will do its best to respond to your electronic request within 24 hours. Telephone and mail-in requests may have longer response times.


Encore will investigate all complaints. If a complaint is found to be justified, Encore will take appropriate measures, including, if necessary, amending its policies and practices.
